Together with ASF France, a two-week post-diploma specialization course was held at Befelatana hospital.

The Madagascan doctors presented the teachers with a report of all the acupuncture treatment they had carried out on more than 300 patients.

A protocol for treating hypertension was introduced (3F – 4GI associated with a diet), to substitute pharmacological treatment which is very expensive. This aroused much interest and a local television station ran  a report on ASF’s initiatives and its doctor training program. The director of the hospital, Dr. Rasolo Dolores, asked ASF to organize a new three-year  training cycle.
