Before the misery of so many underprivileged people around the world, the West responds with the creation of humanitarian works of all kinds. As acupuncturists we wanted to contribute to this action with the training of doctors and paramedics are able to use to treat their patients' therapy cost may be irrelevant as acupuncture.

This medicine may be especially relevant in poor countries where the studies done by the Acupuncture Sans Frontieres - France indicate that 64% of patients presenting at public clinics can be treated with acupuncture.
For these reasons the association was born in Milan Italy Acupuncture Without Borders, non-governmental, non-profit organization, whose motto is "Do not give fish to the hungry, but teach him to fish."
Practically, we offer to groups of health professionals (doctors, nurses, midwives, dentists) to developing countries that require it, the courses of acupuncture that will shape this discipline. The course will last approximately 300 hours spread over 3 courses of 4 weeks and the teaching will be mainly oriented towards practice. To make the countries more self toward the West as regards the consumption of needles, propose the use of sterilized needles and reused.
The most interesting aspect of these missions education is economic: in fact an intervention on our part costing just over the price of air tickets for teachers and care taken to the patient or cost to the government of the country affected the price of the salary dell'agopuntore . The savings for the state and people should be a huge advantage considering the price prohibitive drugs in these countries.
Our young group has need of all:
- new members
- economic aid (donations, sponsors)
- experienced teachers
- reporting of countries involved in our action
- of teaching materials (especially in French or English) and therapeutic needles, moxa ...
